Description:
Opaque rose-beige glass bottle on a ring base. The sloping shoulder ends in a short neck, and the cut rim curves out slightly. The shoulder is decorated with a glass ribbon, the cylindrical body with applied H-patterns. The bottom has a slight kick with pontil- mark. Intact. See Glass from the Ancient World: The Ray Winfield Smith Collection,exhibition catalogue, The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, N.Y. 1957, no. 491, which has a finer shape but the same heavy thread decoration.
